Early to late 2000s aesthetics, Y2K nostalgia, old internet graphics, glitchy textures, cyber visuals, early YouTube chaos, games, music, films, fashion, and all the visual worlds I disappeared into as a kid and teenager.

On top of that, a lot of it comes from what my parents and cousins introduced me to. Things from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Old music, films, cartoons, posters, styles, and subcultures that somehow stayed in my head. So my work feels like a time capsule to me, but not in a clean or overly nostalgic way. More like different eras, memories, and obsessions crashing into each other.

I like work that feels bold. Saturated, contrasted, a little strange, but full of character. Not necessarily loud, but definitely present. Like it has its own attitude.

Sorama Studio sits somewhere between digital and real, between pop culture and history, between beauty and chaos. I get obsessed with small details pretty easily. People, cultures, rituals, symbols, strange little things, old visuals, fashion, food, music, games, anything that feels human or a bit unusual. I bring all of that into what I make.

A big part of that also comes from my fascination with animals, the elements, nature, and the way the natural world has its own kind of design language. I like combining that with cyber aesthetics, digital textures, and futuristic visuals. Organic things meeting artificial things. Something ancient, instinctive, and alive mixed with something sharp, synthetic, and modern.

I cook, analyze, collect, research, design, and create. Usually at my own pace and in my own rhythm. Sometimes stubborn, sometimes precise, sometimes messy, but always curious.

My work does not have to explain itself right away. I like it when something is hidden in plain sight. Something personal, nostalgic, strange, or human that only really shows itself when you look a little longer.

Sorama Studio comes from everything I have always been fascinated by.
